In these uncertain times, EYR continues to make employee health and safety a priority. We monitor the situation daily and are ready to make adjustments to ensure our customers receive quality products and service. 

During her press conference yesterday morning, Governor Whitmer explained that Michigan has not yet reached its peak for COVID-19 cases; and she encouraged the use of masks whenever you go out in public. The use of masks, even homemade versions, is intended to help stop the spread of the virus by people who are asymptomatic and might not know they are carriers. She also reiterated that washing your hands and avoiding touching your face are important steps in keeping yourself safe from infection.

To support these measures, EYR is:

• Recommending staff make homemade masks and wear them while at work as well as out in public.
• Continuing to take staff temperatures as they report for work – requesting anyone with a fever seek medial guidance and provide a doctor’s note to be cleared for work. 
• Providing hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies throughout our buildings.

We’ve also ensured that production staff are cross-trained to ensure production is able to run at full capacity should a staff member become ill. We are happy to report that as of today we haven’t had any staff test positive for COVID-19 (knock on wood). At this time all client projects are proceeding on schedule, and our team continues to meet all critical mailing dates.
