With Giving Tuesday right around the corner, Team EYR is anxious to give back. That’s why, for the second year in a row, we will be donating $1,000 to a worthy nonprofit organization… And we need your help (again)!

You’re invited to #ReachIntoOurPockets this Giving Tuesday by nominating your favorite nonprofit organization to win our $1,000 donation.

We’re accepting nominations until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 27. On Giving Tuesday (November 28, 2017), we’ll take all the nominees and randomly select one lucky organization.

Nominees should be certified 501c3 organizations based in the United States.

We’ll only accept one nomination per email address, but you have the chance to make a bonus nomination by visiting us on Facebook, Liking our page, and commenting on the pinned post with the name of the organization you’d like to nominate. Remember: the more nominations your organization receives, the better their chances to win.

Why is Giving Tuesday so important to Reach?

Giving Tuesday – the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday – is the unofficial kick-off for the holiday giving season. Most importantly, it’s a great excuse to get involved in your community, whether you give your time, talent, or treasure.

“Giving back is an important part of our mission at Extend Your Reach,” said Kristen Nauss, sales and marketing director, “and Giving Tuesday is the perfect backdrop for doing so.”

“The nonprofits in our community do such important work. Our goal is to do what we can to support that work, whether that means making a monetary donation or working with different organizations to get their messages and missions out there.”

Last year’s #ReachIntoOurPockets campaign brought in more than 150 nominations for 64 different local and national organizations. This year, we hope to see that number increase.
